    “Městečko Spremberg není asi vyhledávanou turistickou atraktivitou, ale je rozhodně dobré zázemí centrum pro výlety do okolí. A v deštivých dnech nabízí dostatek vyžití, byť muzeum má popisky jen v němčině. (Přesto lze doporučit.) Pro nás se stal výchozím bodem pro in-line výlety okolo všudypřítomných jezer, doporučit lze i technické památky, ať již prohlídku elektrárny (Schwarze Pumpe) či ještě stále aktivního hnědouhelného dolu (Welzow). Díky přítomnosti tradici Lužických Srbů v kraji (a tudíž dvojjazyčným nápisům skoro všude) si i negermanista bude připadat skoro jako doma. Jídlo v restauraci i možnost nákupů je naprosto vyhovující.”
