In the heart of the Corbières, in the charming village of Fabrezan, crossed by the river Orbieu, this comfortable gîte welcomes you for a relaxing stay while enjoying the wonders of our region. You will be halfway between the famous medieval city of Carcassonne and the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean. Only 30 minutes away from the gîte, in addition to the City of Carcassonne and the sea, you can visit many jewels: Lagrasse, one of the most beautiful villages in France, the Abbey of Fontfroide, the Massif de l'Alaric and the Congoust gorges or the Canal du Midi, classified as a Unesco World Heritage site. There are many walks and bike rides to be had, always with the magnificent landscapes of the area. Nearby there are also many cellars and vineyards that showcase the terroir of the Aude and the wine of the Corbières. The village has many shops (grocery shop, restaurants, café, pharmacy, tobacconist). Swimming spots are easily accessible along the river Orbieu where you can refresh yourself (depending on the season) and where fishing is also possible. At the gîte, you will enjoy the calm of the surroundings and there is nothing better than sunbathing in the southern sun on a deckchair, with sheltered areas for everyone to enjoy. You will have a large private and sheltered terrace with garden furniture and barbecue to spend relaxing moments around a good meal with a view on the vegetation. The gîte has a garage accessible only for bicycles, but you can park two cars in front of the garage or along the road (no passing cars as it is a dead end).

The gîte comprises on the ground floor a large air-conditioned living room with a sitting area (sofa and TV), a dining area with an extension table and a fireplace (wood provided in winter). A separate, fully equipped kitchen that leads to the garage where the utility room and laundry area are located. The kitchen and the living room give access to the terrace. A separate toilet. A first bedroom with a 160cm bed (2x80cm, the bed is electrically adjustable) with its own private bathroom (large shower and washbasin). On the first floor, two bedrooms each with a double bed and a fourth and final bedroom with two single beds that can be joined together. An independent shower room with shower and washbasin. An independent toilet. WIFI connection. Baby equipment on request. Our friends the animals are accepted under good behaviour. Sheets, towels and cleaning at the end of your stay are extra. Electricity consumption: 2kwH/day/person included, more to be paid to the owner at the end of the stay.
