    “Wir würden im Haus Fromsenrüti sofort wieder Ferien machen Positiv: Die Alleinlage, riesiger Umschwung, wunderschöne Aussicht und absolute Ruhe.
    Zum Erholen nicht zu toppen. Negativ: Da das Haus sehr weit oberhalb liegt, ist es doch ziemlich weit zum Fahren bis in den nächsten grösseren Ort mit Supermarkt oder Restaurant. Dafür hat man absolute Ruhe.”

    “Dieses ehemalige Appenzeller Bauernhaus liegt auf einem Hügel mitten in der wunderschönen Appenzeller Landschaft. Die nächsten Nachbarn sind zirka 200m entfernt. Hinter dem Haus befinden sich nur Wiese und Wald, es ist also ruhig. Wanderer gibt es wenige. In der Gegend gibt es sehr viel zu unternehmen: Wandern im Appenzellerland, Baden im Bodensee, Besuchen von interessanten Städten (Bregenz, Lindau, Vaduz, Appenzell, Heiden, St. Gallen, usw,). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ... Positiv: Das Appenzellerland. Negativ: Kein Schweizer Natel-Empfang. Kippt ständig aufs deutsche oder oesterreichische Netz. Die erwähnte Naturstrasse ist steil, ein 4x4 kann nützlich sein. Wie in allen traditionnellen Appenzellerhäusern sind die Decken tief angelegt. Für Leute über 185cm ist es problematisch. Kein Geschirrspüler, kein Toaster, keine Waschmaschine. Viele Mäuse (?), die nachts zwischen Dach und Decken herumtoben. Wie bereits erwähnt sind das Haus und die Umgebung ruhig. Morgens wurde unten im Tal jedoch fleissig gehämmert. Schliesslich kann es vorkommen, dass in der Nähe Camper ihr Zelt aufbauen. Empfehlung: Families, couples - Für Kinder unter 3-4 Jahren und Senioren wenig geeignet.”
