This area around Rovinj is a cosy and family-friendly tourist area like any other region in Istria. There are various options for activities in this region. Do take a trip to Kastelir, where you can visit the fort, a cave and two water sources and above all enjoy the beautiful and pristine nature. A trip to the hinterland is highly recommended. There are many medieval towns in the inland to explore, for instance, Motovun, a town where the International Film Festival is organised every year during the end of July or visit Hum, the smallest town in the world.
