Detached holiday house in an idyllic location

This detached holiday house is spread over three floors and is in the midst of Carinthia in Bad Kleinkirchheim. It was built in 1932 and last renovated in 2017. Owing to its location on a slope, it affords a beautiful view of the mountain meadows.

The accommodation of around 90m² is very comfortably furnished and exudes a pleasant atmosphere, inviting you to relax and enjoy your stay. During the renovation, the owner paid attention to ensuring that the charm of the old house was preserved, combining the old, rustic ambience with new, modern touches. The living room has a sofa suite, a coffee table, satellite TV, a CD player. The kitchen-diner has a dining corner and is equipped with an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a stove, a microwave, a kettle and a Senseo coffee machine. Two of the four bedrooms are furnished with a double bed (200 x 180cm), the third has a single bed (90 cm wide) and the fourth has a French bed (140cm wide). The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a washbasin and a separate WC. A hairdryer can be borrowed on request for a deposit. The owner can provide a highchair and board games for all ages free of charge. Heating and free wireless Internet access are available in all the rooms in the house.

The outdoor area includes a furnished balcony with a great panoramic view over Bad Kleinkirchheim. You can share use of the private lawn (only in summer). Two private outdoor car parking spaces are available free of charge. Dogs (max two) are allowed for a fee. We do not accept cats in our property.

As the owner also lives on site, you have a direct contact person for any queries or suggestions. The Kärnten Card is included for you (only applies to the summer), granting free entry to over 100 trip destinations. You can find further information on the Internet under Kärnten Card.

In summer it is an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours and many other sports. Enjoy the nature, the mountains, lakes, animal parks and many trip destinations in Carinthia. You can enjoy leisure and wellness in the Nockberge biosphere reserve and the Bad Kleinkirchheim thermal baths. We are located right by one of the great hiking trails in Bad Kleinkirchheim, ideal for our hikers. In winter, owing to the location the St. Oswald and Bad Kleinkirchheim ski pistes are a short distance away, as the accommodation is between the two ski resorts. The area also has a lot to offer snowboarders and winter hikers, with well-developed pistes and winter hiking trails. The nearest cable car is 1.2km away. Shops and a weekly farmers’ market right in the village are about 3-4.5km away.

    “Wij hebben een super leuke vakantie gehad in het vakantie huis van de fam poppel, het interieur was schoon en netjes er waren drie verdiepingen een balkon en terras en zelfs mochten we gebruik maken van het zwembad. De ligging van het huis was ook prachtig we keken uit naar het dorp bad klein kirchheim en de bergen. Alles zag er netjes en zeer verzorgd uit!
    Wij gaan het huis vast en zeker nog een keer huren!
    Van de karntencard die inbegrepen was bij de huurprijs, hebben we ook veel gebruik gemaakt deze kaart kan ook zeker uit als je met meerderen op vakantie bent”

    “Das Ferienhaus ist ein wunderbarer Ort für all diejenigen, die eine bequeme und saubere Unterkunft in den Bergen suchen. Sie bietet den Flair eines Bergbauernhauses in das die Ausstattungen der heutigen Welt eingebracht wurden.
    Eine Küche in der man sich versammeln, kochen und genießen kann. Ein Wohnzimmer zum lümmeln.
    Auf dem ersten Stock und auf dem Dachgeschoß (zweiter Stock) sind die insgesamt vier Schlafzimmer mit reichlich Platz für sechs Personen.
    Eine Terrasse und eine Loggia Richtung Süden mit einem wundervollen Ausblick.
    Im Keller ist das Badezimmer mit einer sehr modern eingerichteten Dusche.
    Nicht zu empfehlen ist dieses Ferienhaus allerdings für gehbehinderte. Nicht nur weil man innerhalb des Hauses über mehrere Stockwerke gehen muss sondern auch weil das Haus auf Felsgrund gebaut ist, der von der Hauptstraße ca. 50 m entfernt ist und auch ca. 25m höher liegt (Steilhang - wir sind in den Bergen).”

    “Ein sehr sauberes und urgemütliches altes Bauernhaus. Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis vollkommen in Ordnung. Vermieter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. In diesem Ferienhaus ist alles, was man braucht, vorhanden. Waren 4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder und Hund. Haben uns dort gleich zu Hause gefühlt. Diese Haus ist wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!”
