Located not far away from Berlin, this beautiful cottage borders the owner's house. It accords a warm welcome on this shared property with a garden pond. A steep staircase leads you to the open loft on which a double bed, two single beds and a cot are provided. The sofa bed in the living area is about 1.20 metres wide. Berkenbrück on the River Spree in Brandenburg is located 60 km south-east of Berlin. It can be easily accessed and takes only 35 minutes by train, thanks to the excellent rail connections. You can also reach Poland quickly, the Spreewald or one of the many lakes in the region. You can also drive to the nearby Scharmützelsee. Enjoy exploring Scharmützelsee on your own by renting pedal boats, rowing, sailing, and hire motorboats or go on a tour in one of the passenger ships. On the lake side you will find a surfing and sailing school which offers bicycle and boat on rent (The sailing school offers all these facilities). You may just relax in the Saarow Therme, which is situated around 14 km from the holiday home, on the north bank of the Scharmützelsee. It is a delightful place with sponge massage, water current, hot tubs, underwater geysers and massage wells with sauna and wellness programmes. It thus provides a holistic wellness and health experience. During summer, spend an eventful day with children or grandchildren in Irrlandia, which is located 10 km away. Enjoy treasure hunt, hide-and-seek, playing and running around, climbing, slides, swings, bouncing and more. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking and cycling. A 3.3 km long stretch of Europe’s hiking trail passes through the town.

    “Hallo in dem Häuschen hat es an nichts gefehlt, es wurde an jedes Detail gedacht :-). Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der idyllischen und etwas abgelegenen Lage. Der Aussenbereich war mit vielen Pflanzen schön dekoriert, ideal zum entspannen. Von dort aus hat man viele Möglichkeiten mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs zu sein. Fürstenwalde ist ca. 7km entfernt, von dort aus hat man eine gute Anbindung mit dem Zug in alle Richtungen.
    Wir haben uns in dem Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt und uns bestens mit den Vermietern verstanden, überlegen schon wann wir das nächste mal dort Urlaub machen.”
