The homely and modern vacation home 'Zur Schmiede' originated from an old village smithy and is located directly at a pond in a wooded landscape on the country road L1099. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the garden, with sunbathing area and the pond located in front of the house.

The house consists of two apartments and is therefore ideal for two families traveling together. Both the first floor and the upper floor have a kitchen and a bathroom.

The fireplace in the living room spreads a pleasant atmosphere on cool days. The terrace built on the south side invites you to sunbathe in nice weather. A mobile outdoor fireplace is available for barbecuing. Children can play in the spacious garden. The apartment on the upper floor has a separate access via an external staircase. It has a kitchen-living room, bedroom and sanitary area. The basement is suitable for cozy evenings by the small fireplace.

Schleiz, Saalfeld - city of the fairy grottos - and the poet city of Weimar invite you for excursions. About 10 km to the ski arena Steinach with a ski rental, several lifts and slopes for beginners and advanced skiers.
