This delightful holiday home is set close to lake Ugglebosjön in Småland.

You enter the cottage via a lovely little veranda at the front. On the bottom floor you will find a charming kitchen; a great place for spending time together while cooking a lovely meal. The kitchen features an electric cooker as well as a functioning wood cooker. Why not try your hand at baking bread the old-fashioned way, with the wood cooker? Next to the kitchen there's a family room with a woodburning stove, a TV, and a sofa. The pretty bedroom features a beautiful sofa bed for two. The bathroom contains a WC, a washbasin, a shower, and a washing machine.

A steep set of stairs takes you up to the second floor where you will find another family room with a TV and a sofa suite. There are also two beautifully decorated bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with three single beds.

The cottage is set on a beautiful, natural plot of 3000 square metres. There are plenty of great destinations for day trips, such as the theme park High Chaparall, or the ski slopes of Isaberg, where they offer activities in the summer as well as in the winter. There's a lovely, prizewinning restaurant, specialising in fish, about a ten minute drive from your cottage.

The lovely seaside town Halmstad is only 81 kilometres away. Another nice place to visit is Tylösand, one of Sweden's most famous and popular beaches, situated close to Halmstad. Falkenberg is about a 30-minute drive from Halmstad. Falkenberg offers plenty of beautiful walking paths and excellent fishing opportunities. There are also tennis- and riding possibilities. The popular beach Skrea strand is not far from the town centre, you can get there by bus or walk there. Or why not visit the zoo in Borås? The big city of Gothenburg is well worth a visit, with it's shops, museums, and amusement park, Liseberg.

Please note:Seeing as the cottage is 150 years old it has door posts that are lower than we are accustomed to.
