If you fancy a refreshing swim, there are two places to go: the Lac de la Cavayère or the Pôle Aqualudique, both in Carcassonne, 10 minutes from the gîte. Villa Tamaris offers comfort and space throughout your stay, with the added bonus of a beautiful view of the Cité de Carcassonne from the living room, where you can see it in all its glory, including during the fireworks on 14 July!
